Role & Responsibilities

  • Deliver personalised client consultations and product recommendations across fragrance, skincare and colour cosmetics to cultivate loyalty and sales.
  • Perform make‑up and skincare demonstrations, offer application services and conduct skin assessments in accordance with Chanel protocols.
  • Contribute to sales targets through consultative selling, clienteling and active promotion of brand launches and seasonal initiatives.
  • Maintain boutique presentation to Chanel standards: merchandising, visual display, sample management and stock replenishment.
  • Operate the point‑of‑sale system, process transactions and manage basic administrative tasks related to client files and sales reporting.
  • Participate in in‑store training, product briefings and team meetings; apply brand training to daily client interactions.
  • Support boutique events, product launches and VIP client appointments as required, ensuring discretion and high service levels.
  • Adhere to hygiene, safety and corporate compliance procedures while representing the brand with professionalism.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a recognised vocational programme or apprenticeship track in cosmetics, beauty, retail or sales (alternance/apprenticeship).
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a client‑focused, service‑oriented demeanour and professional presentation.
  • Commercial awareness and motivation to achieve measurable sales objectives within a luxury retail environment.
  • Organisational aptitude, attention to detail and the ability to work shifts typical of flagship boutiques (including weekends).
  • Eagerness to learn, receptive to coaching and able to apply brand protocols consistently.

Experience

Education

Enrolled in a vocational qualification (e.g., CAP, BTS or equivalent) in cosmetology, beauty therapy, retail or sales as part of an alternance/apprenticeship programme.
