Chanel is hiring an Associate, People Operations and Transformation in Piscataway, NJ — support HR operations and transformation initiatives.

Role & Responsibilities
- Support end-to-end people operations processes across the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, offboarding, HR data maintenance and employee records management.
- Coordinate and execute transformation initiatives that improve HR processes, governance and service delivery in partnership with HR business partners and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Maintain and reconcile HR data, produce regular and ad hoc reports and dashboards to inform decision-making and measure program impact.
- Act as project coordinator for change-management activities: scheduling, communication materials, training logistics and stakeholder engagement.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and applicable employment regulations; escalate complex employee relations matters to senior HR colleagues.
- Contribute to process documentation, SOPs and continuous-improvement efforts to standardize people operations across geographies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related discipline preferred.
- 2+ years of progressive experience in HR operations, people services or HR transformation projects; experience within luxury retail or consumer goods is advantageous.
- Demonstrable experience coordinating cross-functional projects and implementing process improvements.
- Strong discretion and ability to handle confidential information with professionalism.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., SHRM, PHR) are a plus but not required.
Skills
Experience
At least two years of hands-on experience in HR operations or people programs, with demonstrated involvement in transformation or process-improvement initiatives. Preferably experienced within a complex, multi-site environment such as retail, fashion or consumer goods.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Psychology or a related field preferred.
