Role & Responsibilities

  • Translate global visual identity and seasonal campaigns into coherent store concepts and in-market executions across North Asia and SEAA.
  • Lead development of display and fixture concepts: produce technical drawings, shop-fit specifications, prototyping and installation briefs for flagship and network stores.
  • Oversee a small regional design team and external suppliers, providing creative direction, quality control and schedule management.
  • Coordinate cross-functionally with Retail Operations, Store Design, Marketing and Merchandising to ensure brand consistency and commercial alignment.
  • Manage project budgets, timelines and vendor relationships; ensure compliance with local regulations and store constraints.
  • Plan and execute regional rollouts and seasonal resets, including travel to key markets for shop-floor inspections and installation sign-offs.
  • Maintain and present a professional portfolio of VM standards, guidelines and trend-led recommendations to senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

  • Degree or diploma in Product Design, Interior Design, Visual Merchandising, Fashion or equivalent professional experience.
  • Demonstrable portfolio of luxury visual merchandising and retail design projects, showing technical drawings and final in-store execution.
  • Proven ability to lead creative teams and manage external suppliers in a multi-market context.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with clear written and verbal presentation capabilities.
  • Willingness and ability to travel regionally on a regular basis.

Experience

Typically 5+ years of progressive experience in visual merchandising or retail design within the luxury or premium fashion sector, including regional project management and leadership of design or VM teams.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Visual Merchandising, Interior Design, Fashion Design or related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
