Role & Responsibilities

  • Support the Boutique Manager in achieving sales targets and executing the store’s commercial strategy.
  • Deliver exceptional clienteling: welcome clients, develop relationships, manage appointments and follow-up to drive repeat business.
  • Assist with daily store operations including point-of-sale transactions, stock reception and inventory control.
  • Contribute to visual merchandising and ensure presentation standards reflect Chanel’s aesthetic and brand guidelines.
  • Coach and motivate sales teams on service standards and sales techniques under the manager’s direction.
  • Participate in team briefings, staff scheduling and recruitment as required by the boutique leadership.
  • Maintain strict compliance with store policies, loss prevention procedures and confidentiality of client information.

Qualifications

  • Enrolled in an approved alternance/apprenticeship programme (commerce, retail management, business or fashion-related qualification) starting September 2024.
  • Legal eligibility to work in France and available to complete the full alternance commitment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, commercial instinct and a passion for luxury fashion.
  • Flexible availability including weekends and peak retail periods.

Experience

Previous retail or customer-facing experience is advantageous; internships, part-time roles or seasonal positions in luxury or premium retail will be viewed favorably. The role is suitable for candidates at the beginning of their retail career who seek structured on-the-job training.

Education

Current enrollment in a relevant apprenticeship/alternance programme (e.g. BTS, Bachelor or equivalent in sales, retail management, business or fashion).
