Role & Responsibilities

  • Support daily operations of the press showroom, coordinating press and buyer appointments and managing scheduling.
  • Prepare and present product selections and press dossiers for visiting journalists, stylists and clients.
  • Handle sample logistics including receipt, tagging, tracking, packing and organizing returns in accordance with showroom procedures.
  • Maintain and update showroom inventory and lookbooks; ensure samples are presentation-ready and accurately documented.
  • Liaise with PR, press, archives and product teams to coordinate deliveries, fittings and request follow-ups.
  • Provide administrative support: manage correspondence, update calendars, prepare briefing materials and assist with meeting preparation.
  • Assist on-site at shows, presentations or press events as required, ensuring smooth guest flow and sample availability.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's programme in Fashion, Communications, Public Relations, Marketing or a related discipline.
  • Exceptional organisational skills, meticulous attention to detail and a methodical approach to sample and inventory management.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a professional demeanour for interacting with press, stylists and internal stakeholders.
  • Discretion and respect for confidentiality when handling advance collections and embargoed materials.
  • Flexible, proactive and able to perform under tight deadlines during peak periods.

Experience

Previous internship or part-time experience in a fashion showroom, press office, PR agency or retail environment is advantageous but not mandatory; candidates should demonstrate familiarity with sample handling and press-facing activities when possible.

Education

Current enrolment in a tertiary-level programme (Bachelor's or Master's) in Fashion, Communications, PR, Marketing or related field.
