Chanel seeks an Assistant Manager, Product at Saks Atlanta to support merchandising, inventory and client experience for the Chanel concession.

Role & Responsibilities
- Support the Store Product Manager in the day-to-day management of merchandise assortment, allocation and inventory for the Saks Atlanta concession.
- Drive in-store merchandising execution: maintain visual presentation, floor sets and product storytelling to reflect Chanel standards and seasonal directives.
- Monitor sales performance and stock movement; provide regular reporting and actionable recommendations to optimise inventory turns and sell-through.
- Collaborate with buying, allocation and wholesale teams to implement product launches, replenishment plans and promotional activity.
- Coach and mentor retail staff on product knowledge, clienteling techniques and transactional excellence to maximise conversion and average transaction value.
- Manage receiving, stockroom processes and loss-prevention measures to ensure inventory integrity and operational compliance.
- Represent the brand with professionalism when liaising with Saks department management and external partners.
Qualifications
- Proven luxury retail experience with responsibility for product, merchandising or inventory (recommended: 3+ years in a comparable role).
- Demonstrated supervisory or team-lead experience in a fast-paced store environment.
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to interpret sales data and translate insights into merchandising actions.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a polished client-facing manner consistent with Chanel’s service standards.
- Ability to work retail hours including weekends and peak seasonal periods; flexible and reliable.
Skills
Experience
Minimum several years of progressively responsible experience in luxury retail merchandising or product management, including frontline supervisory duties and measurable commercial results. Experience supporting product launches and managing allocation or replenishment processes is strongly preferred.
Education
High school diploma required; Bachelor's degree in fashion merchandising, retail management, business or a related field preferred.
