Role & Responsibilities
- Support daily boutique operations to ensure a flawless client experience and adherence to Chanel operational standards.
- Manage stock reception, inventory control and stockroom organisation, including cycle counts and discrepancy resolution.
- Implement and maintain visual merchandising directives and boutique floor sets to reflect seasonal campaigns.
- Assist with team scheduling, daily briefings and on-the-floor coaching to uphold service protocols.
- Contribute to sales and operational reporting, monitoring key performance indicators and recommending corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with loss-prevention procedures, cash handling and company policies.
- Coordinate with supply chain and retail headquarters for replenishment, special orders and logistical queries.
- Undertake administrative tasks related to store operations, including paperwork, CRM updates and supplier follow-up.
- Lead or participate in short projects linked to operational improvement as part of the apprenticeship curriculum.
Qualifications
- Eligible for an alternance/apprenticeship programme (French apprenticeship or work-study contract) commencing September 2024.
- Currently enrolled in higher education in business, retail management, fashion or related discipline (BTS/DUT/License/Bachelor).
- Strong organisational aptitude with attention to detail and high standards of presentation.
- Professional demeanour, discretion and commitment to delivering luxury-level client service.
- Good interpersonal skills with the ability to coach colleagues and liaise with cross-functional teams.
Skills
Experience
Some prior retail experience or internships in fashion or luxury retail are advantageous; exposure to store operations or supervisory tasks is preferred.
Education
Currently enrolled in a relevant higher-education programme (BTS, DUT, Licence/Bachelor) in business, retail management, fashion or equivalent — eligible for alternance/apprenticeship.
