Assistant Logistics Manager

Role & Responsibilities
- Support the end-to-end logistics operations for Greater China, including inbound receiving, warehousing, inventory control, order fulfilment and outbound distribution to boutiques and wholesale partners.
- Manage daily warehouse activities and supervise logistics staff to ensure accuracy, safety and adherence to SOPs.
- Coordinate transportation and freight forwarding, including carrier selection, route optimisation and cost control.
- Oversee inventory reconciliation, cycle counts and shrinkage reduction initiatives; ensure stock integrity and timely reporting of variances.
- Liaise with customs brokers to ensure compliance with import/export regulations, duties and documentation for cross-border shipments.
- Drive KPI monitoring and continuous improvement projects to raise service levels, on-time delivery and cost-efficiency.
- Collaborate with merchandising, retail, e‑commerce and finance to align stock allocation, launch logistics and seasonal replenishment plans.
- Implement and maintain WMS/ERP processes, support systems rollouts and provide operational feedback to IT and external vendors.
Qualifications
- Proven leadership with ability to coach and manage a small operations team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical ability and numerical accuracy for inventory and cost control.
- Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional communication skills.
- Robust knowledge of import/export procedures and customs compliance.
- Fluency in Mandarin Chinese and professional working proficiency in English.
Skills
Experience
Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in logistics, warehouse or supply chain operations, including at least 2 years in fashion, retail or luxury goods distribution; experience managing teams and third‑party logistics providers.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
