Role & Responsibilities
- Support the IT Financial Controller in month-end closing, consolidation and preparation of IT cost reports (OPEX and CAPEX).
- Monitor and reconcile IT-related invoices, vendor spend and cost allocations to ensure correct posting and accounting treatment.
- Prepare budgetary follow-ups, rolling forecasts and variance analyses with clear explanations for corporate stakeholders.
- Build and maintain Excel-based trackers and management dashboards; propose and implement process improvements and automation.
- Follow the financial progress of IT projects and investments, tracking commitments, actuals and forecasted spend.
- Coordinate with IT, Procurement and Finance teams to collect data, validate entries and ensure completeness of reporting.
- Draft clear, concise financial summaries and presentation materials for reporting to senior management.
- Contribute to ad hoc analyses and support continuous improvement of management control practices within the IT organisation.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's programme in Finance, Accounting, Management Control, Business Administration or Information Systems under a work-study (alternance) arrangement.
- Strong numerical proficiency and rigorous attention to detail.
- Advanced Excel skills with the ability to build models, pivot tables and structured reporting.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills; able to collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Organised, proactive and able to prioritise competing tasks in a fast-paced corporate environment.
Skills
Experience
Previous internship experience in finance, management control, accounting or IT project finance is advantageous but not mandatory; ideal candidates will have some exposure to corporate finance processes through prior internships or academic projects.
Education
Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Management Control, Business Administration, or Information Systems (work-study/alternance).
