Account Manager (Fixed Term)
Chanel seeks a Fixed Term Account Manager for Boots in Chichester, UK — contract role overseeing the Chanel account and driving retail performance.

Role & Responsibilities
- Own day-to-day management of the Chanel account at Boots Chichester, ensuring brand standards and promotional activity are executed flawlessly.
- Drive sales performance and deliver against KPIs through bespoke selling, clienteling and targeted merchandising.
- Plan and implement visual merchandising and product resets in line with Chanel retail guidelines and Boots calendar.
- Develop and deliver frontline training for Boots staff on product knowledge, selling techniques and client experience.
- Manage inventory, replenishment and stock integrity; liaise with supply chain and distribution to avoid stockouts and overstock.
- Monitor trading performance and produce regular sales and store activity reports for regional management.
- Coordinate in-store promotional events, sampling and launches, ensuring compliance with brand and retailer policies.
- Act as primary Chanel liaison with Boots store management and regional retail teams to resolve operational issues and escalate where necessary.
Qualifications
- Proven track record in retail account management or store management within beauty or luxury goods.
- Strong commercial acumen with demonstrable experience meeting or exceeding sales targets and KPIs.
- Excellent interpersonal and coaching skills, with experience training or leading frontline retail teams.
- Highly organised with experience in inventory control, merchandising and promotional execution.
- Right to work in the UK and flexibility to work retail hours, including weekends and peak promotional periods.
Skills
Experience
Typically 3+ years' experience in retail or beauty account management, or equivalent experience running a branded concession within a national retailer; experience working with major pharmacy or department store partners (e.g. Boots) is advantageous.
Education
A-levels or equivalent; bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing or a related discipline preferred but not mandatory where demonstrable retail experience exists.
