Account Manager (Fixed Term) — Boots
Chanel is hiring a Fixed Term Account Manager for the Boots account in Leeds to lead retail execution, joint business plans and sales growth.

Role & Responsibilities
- Own the Boots account for Chanel in the designated region, delivering against agreed sales, distribution and margin targets for the fixed-term period.
- Develop and execute joint business plans with Boots stakeholders, including seasonal promotional calendars, NPD launches and in-store events.
- Manage in-store merchandising standards and point-of-sale execution to protect brand integrity and customer experience across Boots locations.
- Coordinate cross-functional activity — commercial, marketing, supply chain and logistics — to ensure on-time product availability and flawless execution.
- Analyse sales performance and retail KPIs, produce clear reports and present actionable recommendations to internal stakeholders and Boots buyers.
- Negotiate commercial terms, promotional funding and listing agreements in collaboration with the national accounts team.
- Deliver training and sales tools for Boots store teams to maximise conversion and product knowledge during promotional periods.
- Ensure compliance with retail partner policies, trade terms and Chanel commercial governance throughout the contract.
Qualifications
- Proven success managing national or multi-site retail accounts, ideally within beauty, cosmetics, luxury or FMCG.
- Demonstrable track record of delivering sales growth through joint business planning and trade promotion management.
- Strong commercial acumen with experience negotiating with retail buyers and managing trade terms.
- Excellent stakeholder management and interpersonal skills, able to influence at buyer and store-management levels.
- Analytical proficiency to interpret sell-through data and translate insights into decisive action.
Skills
Experience
Typically requires 3–5 years of progressive experience managing national retail or key accounts, preferably within beauty, cosmetics, luxury or FMCG. Prior experience working with Boots or other national pharmacy/health & beauty retailers is highly desirable.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Retail Management or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
