Senior E-commerce Manager
CELINE in Tokyo is hiring a Senior E‑commerce Manager to lead digital commerce, omnichannel strategy and site operations for Japan.

Role & Responsibilities
- Lead the digital e‑commerce platform development and ensure site operations deliver a differentiated client experience for Japan.
- Define and execute digital strategy and projects in coordination with Retail, PR, Supply Chain/Logistics, Merchandising, CRM, IT and HQ teams.
- Oversee day‑to‑day management and analysis of site activities to optimise presentation, marketing onsite, functionality and client service.
- Supervise site operations and back‑office procedures with third‑party vendors and warehouse partners, and implement efficiencies for operations.
- Manage local digital marketing channels in close collaboration with HQ: SEO, paid search and paid social campaigns; manage local agencies.
- Drive omnichannel alignment and cross‑channel commercial opportunities; partner with clienteling teams on LINE and other touchpoints.
- Set and monitor client service objectives to ensure CELINE standards are embedded across online customer service and measured regularly.
- Manage country project implementation, rollout and follow‑up; present performance analysis to senior management and manage the P&L.
Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in digital commerce or e‑commerce within retail and/or marketing; luxury experience preferred.
- Proven managerial and organisational ability with strong project and agency management experience.
- Demonstrable experience managing omnichannel projects and third‑party vendor/warehouse relationships.
- Analytical mindset with experience in site performance analysis, reporting and P&L ownership.
- Excellent communication, influencing and leadership skills; pragmatic, strategic and able to manage competing priorities.

Experience
Minimum 10 years in digital/e‑commerce or digital marketing within retail; luxury brand experience and prior retail store exposure are advantageous.
Education
Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, e‑commerce or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
