CELINE (Paris) seeks a Leather Design Studio Assistant (Intern) — full‑time 4–6 month internship starting May 2026 supporting technical drawing and prototyping.

Overview

CELINE is a Parisian maison of couture and leather goods within the LVMH group, recognised for refined minimalism, artisanal craftsmanship and contemporary luxury. The House pursues creative excellence across product, atelier and retail operations and emphasises meticulous materiality and couture techniques in its collections.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Assist the Senior Leather Designer on daily studio activities and design execution.
  • Produce technical drawings and detailed computerised illustrations for leather models.
  • Manage launch dossiers for new models, ensuring documentation completeness and version control.
  • Conduct iconographic research and prepare moodboards to support creative direction.
  • Coordinate and prepare fittings and pre-fitting appointments, including sample organization.
  • Fabricate and assist with maquettes, moulages, toiles, patchworks and leather embroidery samples.
  • Place embroidery and ornamentation on patterns in collaboration with patternmakers.
  • Support studio logistics, organisation and archiving of design assets and prototypes.

Qualifications

  • Currently enrolled in a Bac+4/5 (Master's-level) fashion programme or equivalent; school internship agreement required.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign.
  • Solid knowledge of garment construction and patternmaking (modélisme).
  • Excellent organisational skills, autonomy and ability to work under tight deadlines.
  • Fluent English (spoken).

Experience

Entry-level internship; prior experience in a studio or fashion house is advantageous but not required.
