Cartier in Paris seeks a Visual Merchandising Project Manager to lead boutique VM projects and retail rollouts.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end visual merchandising (VM) projects and boutique rollouts from concept through store implementation, ensuring adherence to brand standards.
  • Translate seasonal creative directives into detailed VM plans, technical drawings and installation specifications for windows, interiors and fixtures.
  • Coordinate cross-functionally with product, retail operations, construction, store teams and external suppliers to manage timelines, costs and quality.
  • Manage project budgets, procurement schedules and vendor contracts to achieve cost and delivery targets.
  • Supervise pilot installations, site surveys and quality-control inspections; provide corrective guidance where necessary.
  • Develop and deliver VM training and installation guides for boutique teams and local VM leads.
  • Monitor post-implementation performance and document lessons learned to refine future rollouts and standards.
  • Ensure compliance with visual standards, merchandising KPIs and local regulatory or safety requirements during installations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Visual Merchandising, Interior Design, Architecture, Retail Management or a related discipline.
  • Proven project-management capability with experience managing complex, multi-site retail rollouts.
  • Strong technical literacy in creating and interpreting store plans, elevations and installation specifications.
  • Demonstrated experience in luxury retail visual merchandising or high-end store design.
  • Professional proficiency in French and English is highly desirable.

Bachelor’s degree in Visual Merchandising, Interior Design, Architecture, Retail Management or equivalent professional experience.
