Senior Planner & Analyst
Cartier in Paris is hiring a Senior Planner & Analyst to lead demand forecasting, inventory optimisation and commercial analysis for the maison.
Overview

Role & Responsibilities
- Lead demand forecasting and merchandise planning cycles to support category and channel targets.
- Develop and maintain financial and inventory models to optimise stock levels, sell-through and margin performance.
- Produce regular sales, inventory and KPI reporting; translate data into actionable recommendations for trading and buying teams.
- Collaborate with Merchandising, Buying, Supply Chain and Retail operations to align assortment, replenishment and allocation strategies.
- Perform root-cause analysis on variances and drive corrective actions to improve forecast accuracy and inventory turns.
- Support seasonal assortment planning, pre-season allocation and post-season close-outs; contribute to commercial reviews.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, Economics or equivalent.
- Minimum of 4 years’ experience in retail merchandising, demand planning, inventory planning or commercial analysis—experience in luxury fashion, watches or jewellery strongly preferred.
- Demonstrable numerical and commercial acumen with proven experience in forecasting, assortment and inventory optimisation.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills and the ability to influence cross-functional teams.
- Fluent in French and proficient in English (written and spoken).

Experience
At least 4 years of progressive experience in planning, merchandise analysis or commercial analytics within retail or luxury goods; prior exposure to fashion, watches or jewellery merchandising is advantageous.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Supply Chain, Economics or related discipline.
