Quality Project Manager

Overview

Role & Responsibilities
- Lead and deliver cross‑functional quality improvement projects from definition through implementation, ensuring alignment with Cartier quality standards and business objectives.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams including production, R&D, supply chain, procurement and external suppliers to define project plans, milestones and resource requirements.
- Conduct root‑cause analysis of product and process non‑conformities using structured methodologies (8D, FMEA) and drive robust corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Develop, monitor and report quality KPIs and dashboards; present progress and risk assessments to stakeholders and senior management.
- Define and validate manufacturing controls and inspection protocols (SPC), and manage process validations and product release activities.
- Execute supplier quality activities: qualification, audits, performance monitoring and remediation plans to secure component and material quality.
- Maintain and update technical documentation, quality plans and work instructions; deliver training to operational teams to embed improvements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Industrial Engineering or equivalent technical discipline.
- Proven experience in quality project management within precision manufacturing, ideally in watchmaking, jewellery or high‑precision components.
- Solid command of problem‑solving methodologies (FMEA, 8D, root‑cause analysis) and experience driving CAPA activities.
- Demonstrated ability to manage cross‑functional teams and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Fluent communication skills, with the capacity to produce clear technical documentation and present to senior leaders.

Experience
Typically 3–7 years of progressive experience in quality engineering or project management within precision manufacturing; prior exposure to watchmaking or jewellery production and supplier quality management is highly advantageous.
Education
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (mechanical, materials, industrial) or equivalent technical qualification.
