Packaging Quality Intern
Cartier — Paris: Packaging Quality Internship (July 2026). Support packaging inspections, supplier follow-up and quality documentation.
Overview

Role & Responsibilities
- Support the packaging quality team in incoming and in-process inspections of packaging components and finished packs.
- Execute and document physical tests and visual checks against defined specifications and technical drawings.
- Log and analyse non-conformities, draft corrective action requests and follow up with internal teams and suppliers.
- Maintain and update quality documentation, control plans and inspection records in accordance with internal procedures.
- Assist in supplier quality activities including sample approvals, supplier audits preparation and CAPA tracking.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to reduce defects, optimise packaging robustness and improve cost/quality balance.
- Prepare data summaries and simple statistical reports to support root-cause analysis and management reviews.
Qualifications
- Enrolment in a tertiary programme in packaging engineering, materials science, industrial engineering, quality management or equivalent.
- Strong attention to detail with methodical approach to inspection and documentation.
- Ability to read technical drawings and packaging specifications.
- Proactive problem‑solving skills and capacity to drive corrective actions with cross‑functional stakeholders.
- Professional conduct, discretion, and ability to handle high-value product environments.
Skills
Experience
Student-level with previous internships or practical exposure to packaging, quality control or supplier coordination preferred but not mandatory.
Education
Current enrolment in a Bachelor's or Master's programme in packaging engineering, materials science, industrial engineering, quality management or related field.
