Cartier in Paris seeks a High‑End Client Development Intern (Alternance) to support client acquisition, clienteling and exclusive events for luxury clientele.

Overview

Role & Responsibilities

  • Support the development and expansion of a portfolio of high‑end and HNW clients through targeted prospecting and clienteling activities.
  • Prepare and maintain client dossiers and CRM records; ensure accurate tracking of interactions, preferences and sales opportunities.
  • Coordinate and assist with client events, private appointments and exclusive boutique initiatives to strengthen client engagement.
  • Work closely with boutique sales teams and marketing to execute acquisition campaigns and bespoke outreach programs.
  • Schedule and follow up on appointments, bespoke requests and after‑sales interactions to maximize conversion and retention.
  • Analyse basic client data and campaign results; prepare regular reports and KPI summaries for the development team.
  • Ensure the highest standards of discretion, confidentiality and personalised service in all client contacts.

Qualifications

  • Enrolled in a higher education programme (Bachelor’s or Master’s level) eligible for alternance/apprenticeship in France.
  • Demonstrated commercial orientation and interest in the luxury goods sector or premium services.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with a polished, client‑focused manner and high standards of discretion.
  • Strong organisational ability and capacity to manage multiple projects and appointments simultaneously.
  • Availability for the alternance schedule and legal eligibility to undertake an apprenticeship/alternance contract in France.
  • Previous internship or part‑time experience in retail, hospitality or client‑facing roles is an advantage.

Experience

Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s programme (commerce, marketing, luxury management or equivalent) and eligible for alternance/apprenticeship in France.
