Cartier in Paris seeks a Finished Goods Planner (CDD) to manage inventory, planning and logistics for finished products.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain finished goods supply plans to ensure product availability while optimising inventory levels across wholesale, retail and e‑commerce channels.
  • Translate demand forecasts into operational plans: generate orders, manage allocations, and trigger replenishments in coordination with manufacturing and external suppliers.
  • Monitor stock KPIs (OTD, days of inventory, sell‑through, ageing) and implement corrective actions to mitigate shortages, overstocks and obsolescence.
  • Coordinate cross‑functionally with merchandising, production, quality, logistics and retail operations to secure on‑time delivery and adherence to product specifications.
  • Maintain and update planning records in ERP; prepare weekly/monthly reporting and ad‑hoc analyses to support decision‑making.
  • Participate in inventory reconciliations, root‑cause analyses for discrepancies and continuous improvement initiatives to streamline flow of finished goods.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in finished goods or inventory planning (typically 3+ years) within a fashion, luxury goods, jewellery or high‑value consumer goods environment.
  • Strong analytical aptitude with a track record of managing KPIs and implementing inventory optimisation measures.
  • Clear ability to work cross‑functionally and influence stakeholders across merchandising, production and logistics.
  • Comfortable operating within structured processes and maintaining meticulous product and data accuracy.
  • Flexibility to work on a fixed‑term contract (CDD) and to support periodic peaks and operational contingencies.

Experience

Mid‑level planning experience (approximately 3+ years) in supply chain, inventory or production planning roles, preferably within luxury, fashion, jewellery or premium retail environments.

Education

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration or a related field.
