Role & Responsibilities
- Provide discreet, high‑calibre client service on the boutique floor within the Selfridges environment, assisting with enquiries and purchase journeys.
- Support sales activity through proactive clienteling, appointment management and follow‑up to nurture long‑term relationships.
- Assist with merchandising and visual standards, ensuring displays and product presentation meet Cartier guidelines.
- Operate point‑of‑sale systems, process transactions and undertake daily cash handling with strict adherence to policies.
- Maintain stock integrity via regular inventory checks, replenishment and accurate logging of movements.
- Support after‑sales procedures including repairs intake, gift‑wrapping and liaising with boutique management and workshops.
- Contribute to achieving boutique sales targets and floor KPIs through teamwork and continuous client focus.
- Comply with brand security, loss‑prevention and regulatory procedures at all times.
Qualifications
- Right to work in the UK (required).
- Professional appearance and impeccable grooming consistent with a luxury house.
- Availability to work retail hours, including evenings, weekends and bank holidays.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a client‑centric attitude.
- Basic numeracy and proven cash‑handling experience.
- Previous experience in luxury retail or a premium department store environment preferred (jewellery or watches advantageous).

Experience
Typically 1–2 years' experience in luxury retail or a premium department store; direct experience with jewellery, watches or high‑value goods is advantageous.
Education
Secondary education (GCSEs or equivalent). Retail or hospitality vocational qualifications (e.g., NVQ) are desirable but not mandatory.
