Role & Responsibilities
- Support the global merchandising team in seasonal assortment planning and range optimization across categories and regions.
- Compile and analyse sales, sell‑through and inventory KPIs to inform merchandising decisions and forecasts.
- Prepare commercial packs, price lists, range presentations and executive slides for range reviews and product launches.
- Coordinate with regional merchandising, buying, supply chain and retail teams to ensure alignment of allocations and replenishment.
- Contribute to assortment modelling, SKU rationalisation and lifecycle tracking for collections.
- Maintain merchandising databases and support data integrity in PLM / merchandising systems.
- Assist ad hoc projects including promotional analysis, market benchmarking and competitor monitoring.
Qualifications
- Enrolled in or recently graduated from a Bachelor's or Master's programme in Fashion Merchandising, Business, Economics, Luxury Management or a related discipline.
- Fluent in French and professional working proficiency in English.
- Strong numerical aptitude with proven ability to analyse sales and inventory data.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; polished presentation ability.
- Organised, detail‑oriented and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced, international environment.
- Right to undertake an internship in France for the proposed period.
Skills
Experience
Previous internship experience (6–12 months) in retail merchandising, buying, commercial planning or analytics preferred; demonstrable exposure to luxury retail or product teams is an advantage.
Education
Enrolled in or recently completed a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Fashion Merchandising, Business, Economics, Luxury Management or equivalent.
