Byredo seeks a Store Manager for its Covent Garden boutique in London to lead sales, team and client experience.

Overview

Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead day‑to‑day operations of the Covent Garden boutique, ensuring impeccable presentation and adherence to brand standards.
  • Drive sales performance and local KPI achievement through proactive merchandising, clienteling and commercial planning.
  • Recruit, coach and develop a high‑performing team; manage schedules, performance reviews and talent calibration.
  • Own inventory control, stock replenishment, visual merchandising execution and loss‑prevention processes.
  • Deliver exceptional client experiences through one‑to‑one selling, after‑sales service and CRM follow‑up.
  • Manage administrative duties including cash reconciliation, payroll inputs, store P&L tracking and liaison with finance.
  • Implement product launches, in‑store events and local marketing initiatives in collaboration with regional and corporate teams.
  • Ensure compliance with health & safety, employment legislation and corporate retail policies.

Qualifications

  • Proven retail management experience — ideally in luxury, beauty or premium lifestyle brands.
  • Demonstrable track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and retail KPIs.
  • Strong leadership and people‑management skills with experience training and developing frontline staff.
  • Commercial acumen including inventory control, merchandising and basic P&L awareness.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills suited to high‑net‑worth client service.

Experience

Minimum 3 years' management experience in luxury or premium retail, with a demonstrable record of leading a boutique or store team and delivering consistent commercial results. Experience in flagship or high‑footfall locations is highly desirable.

Education

High school diploma required; bachelor’s degree in business, fashion, retail management or related discipline preferred.
