Byredo is hiring an Education Manager in London to develop and deliver retail and product training for its luxury fragrance and beauty business.

Overview

Role & Responsibilities

  • Design, implement and maintain a global retail and wholesale education strategy that elevates product knowledge, service standards and selling skills across store teams and partners.
  • Create modular curricula, classroom and e‑learning content, assessment tools and certification pathways for new product launches, seasonal merchandising and brand pillars.
  • Deliver in-person and virtual training sessions, masterclasses and train‑the‑trainer programs for boutique teams, regional trainers and wholesale partners.
  • Onboard new retail hires and support store openings with role-specific training plans, field coaching and competency assessments.
  • Partner with commercial, marketing and visual merchandising teams to align training with commercial objectives, promotional calendars and brand positioning.
  • Measure training impact through KPIs, assessments and feedback loops; report on learning outcomes and propose continuous improvements.
  • Manage learning resources and budgets, maintain up-to-date training materials and oversee relationships with external trainers and learning vendors.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality, Education or a related discipline; qualifications in Learning & Development or adult education are advantageous.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in retail learning & development, ideally with demonstrable experience in beauty, fragrance or luxury retail environments.
  • Proven ability to design learner-centric curricula and to deliver high-impact facilitation for both classroom and virtual audiences.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, with experience collaborating across commercial, marketing and store operations teams.
  • Strong analytical capability to measure training effectiveness and to translate insights into actionable enhancements.

Experience

At least 5 years of progressive experience in learning & development within retail, with specific exposure to beauty, fragrance or premium luxury brands and a track record of delivering measurable commercial impact through training.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Hospitality, Education or related field. Professional certifications in L&D or adult education preferred.
