Burberry seeks a Store Manager in Changsha to lead retail operations, sales growth and team development for its flagship/mainline store.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Build, lead and develop a high-performing store team to deliver exceptional client service and protect the brand image.
  • Drive store sales and profitability through effective use of resources, coaching and clear commercial plans.
  • Own day-to-day store operations including inventory management, merchandising, housekeeping and adherence to global visual standards.
  • Manage customer experience end-to-end, including resolution of escalated complaints to ensure client retention.
  • Control stock loss and execute regular store audits to keep shrinkage within budgeted levels.
  • Manage labour cost and staff turnover within budget while ensuring appropriate staffing levels and coverage.
  • Plan and deliver ongoing training in sales techniques and product knowledge for all store personnel.
  • Perform regular performance reviews, deliver constructive feedback and implement individual development plans.
  • Interpret sales data and KPIs to adjust action plans and support attainment of sales targets.

Qualifications

  • Associate degree (college diploma) or higher.
  • Fluent spoken and written Chinese and English.
  • Minimum five years' retail experience, ideally within branded apparel, accessories or related luxury segments.
  • Proven managerial experience with strong leadership, organisational and execution capability.
  • Working knowledge of basic financial controls and store P&L drivers.
  • Competent with standard computer operations.

Experience
