Burberry seeks a Sales Associate in Rosemont, IL (Fashion Outlets of Chicago). Hourly pay $18–$19.50; clienteling and luxury retail experience required.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Deliver the Burberry Experience on every customer interaction and consistently meet individual sales targets.
  • Develop and maintain a detailed client book; execute client development activities including follow-up emails, reactivation and invitation outreach.
  • Provide exceptional customer service through proactive selling, superior communication and strong relationship-building.
  • Maintain store visual standards by executing monthly floorsets, replenishing merchandise, folding and tagging to Burberry guidelines.
  • Ensure professional floor presence: prepare the selling floor at shift start, replenish and tidy at shift end, and maintain fitting rooms.
  • Support back-of-house operations including markdowns, bi-annual inventory, stockroom organisation and pre-sale goal participation.
  • Participate in store contests and support team initiatives to drive store performance and KPIs (UPT, ATV, capture compliance).

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 year of sales experience; luxury retail experience strongly preferred.
  • Advanced knowledge of POS and store systems.
  • Proven record of achieving sales targets and driving client development.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a collaborative, team-oriented attitude.
  • Results-driven, adaptable to change and committed to high standards of customer service.
  • Genuine interest in fashion and brand alignment with Burberry's luxury standards.

Experience

At least 1 year of direct sales experience, preferably within a luxury or premium retail environment, with demonstrated success meeting sales targets and developing customer relationships.
