Burberry seeks an Assistant Store Manager in Roermond, Netherlands to drive sales, coach teams and deliver the Burberry Experience at McArthur Glen Outlet.

Role & Responsibilities
- Support the Store Manager in driving category sales performance and achieving store KPIs.
- Coach, develop and supervise sales associates to elevate selling skills and close sales in line with the Burberry Experience.
- Own an assigned product category: drive sell-through, train the team and monitor stock-to-sales performance.
- Manage customer flow and service standards on the selling floor to ensure every client receives the full Burberry Experience.
- Deliver real-time, transaction-level coaching and follow up on associates’ development actions.
- Lead onboarding and integration of new team members and contribute to monthly development plans and performance reviews.
- Resolve complex customer service issues and escalate when necessary; authorise post-voids, promotional discounts and employee sales in absence of store management.
- Drive the in-store digital experience, leveraging Apple devices and other digital resources to support remote or hybrid client communication.
- Assist with store opening and closing procedures and ensure compliance with company operational policies.
Qualifications
- 1–2 years supervisory or management experience in retail sales.
- Advanced knowledge of POS systems and transactional controls.
- Proven ability to handle complex customer-service scenarios, including returns, repairs and after-sales casework.
- Confident, professional communicator with the ability to coach and develop retail teams.
- Familiarity with Apple mobile devices and comfort using digital selling tools.

Experience
Minimum 1–2 years of supervisory or assistant management experience within luxury or premium retail, with demonstrable track record in driving sales and developing frontline teams.
Education
Secondary education (high school) or equivalent required; retail management training or relevant vocational qualification preferred.
