Senior Accountant
Bulgari Senior Accountant in New York (Hybrid) — responsible for LATAM monthly close, intercompany reconciliations and inventory accounting.

Role & Responsibilities
- Lead and participate in the monthly close process for multiple legal entities across the Americas with emphasis on LATAM companies.
- Prepare, reconcile and submit all intercompany reconciliations and intercompany accounting entries.
- Oversee intra‑brand accounting between the maison and group affiliates.
- Prepare and post rent-related journal entries, translating Anaplan outputs into SAP postings.
- Record payroll- and benefits-related expenses, including commissions, bonuses and health insurance.
- Prepare and post journal entries for sales, accruals and customs expenses (posting customs costs via SAP MIRO).
- Maintain prepaid schedules (prepaid others, A&P prepaid, prepaid insurance) and insurance amortization/accrual schedules.
- Perform monthly GL analysis for inventory and related accounts and conduct inventory valuation reviews.
- Prepare quarterly obsolescence analyses and detailed inventory/stock adjustment reports.
- Reconcile employee Online Boutique sales and produce KPI and ad hoc reports for local management and Corporate.
- Support consolidation and financial statement reporting activities in Syrus and assist with balance sheet reconciliations and P&L analyses.
- Act as point of contact for sales reporting with landlords across the retail network and participate in internal control and LVMH audits.
- Execute additional projects and ad hoc requests as assigned by the Assistant Controller or finance leadership.
Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting or a closely related field.
- 5–7 years of progressively responsible accounting experience; retail and wholesale experience required.
- Proven experience with monthly close processes, intercompany reconciliations and inventory accounting.
- Strong analytical aptitude, meticulous attention to detail and ability to meet stringent deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills and capacity to work independently in a fast‑paced, cross‑functional environment.
- Advanced Excel proficiency (v-lookup, pivot tables, macros) and willingness to contribute beyond defined role.
- SAP experience preferred.

Education
Bachelor of Science in Accounting or related discipline.
