Buccellati in Bologna is hiring a Warehouse Intern to support receiving, inventory and shipping operations for the luxury jewellery maison.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Receive, inspect and document incoming goods ensuring accuracy against delivery notes and purchase orders.
  • Unpack, label and sort items according to established storage protocols for high-value jewellery and components.
  • Conduct daily stock movements: picking, packing and preparing outbound shipments to boutiques and ateliers.
  • Perform regular cycle counts and support periodic stock reconciliations to maintain inventory integrity.
  • Maintain orderly, secure and compliant storage areas with strict adherence to handling procedures for luxury goods.
  • Operate warehouse equipment safely and record transactions in the inventory system or WMS.
  • Coordinate with retail, logistics and production teams to prioritise replenishment and urgent transfers.
  • Support ad hoc administrative tasks including documentation archiving, courier coordination and minor repairs.

Qualifications

  • Enrolled in or recently graduated from a programme in logistics, supply chain, business administration or a related vocational course.
  • Strong attention to detail with proven accuracy in handling inventory or high-value items (academic projects or prior internships acceptable).
  • Physical ability to perform manual handling tasks and to work on the warehouse floor for extended periods.
  • Reliable, punctual and able to work within a small, multidisciplinary operations team.
  • Basic numeracy and organisational skills; familiar with barcode labelling and stock counting procedures.
  • Legal eligibility to undertake an internship in Italy.

Experience

Internship-level role; prior experience in a warehouse, retail stockroom or logistics environment is advantageous but not required. Academic or short-term project work demonstrating inventory handling or logistics understanding will be considered.

Education

Enrolled in or recently completed secondary or tertiary education in logistics, supply chain, business administration, or a related vocational discipline.
