Buccellati seeks a CNC Machining Adjuster in Morbio Inferiore, Switzerland — responsible for CNC setup, precision machining and quality control for luxury jewellery components.

Role & Responsibilities
- Set up, adjust and optimize CNC milling and turning centres for production of precision jewellery components and fittings in precious metals and fine alloys.
- Interpret technical drawings and CAD outputs to generate or refine CNC programs (G-code) and tooling plans suited to micro‑tolerances.
- Select, dress and verify cutting tools and fixtures; determine feeds, speeds and cutting strategies to preserve surface quality and minimise material waste.
- Conduct in-process inspection using micrometers, calipers and other metrology instruments; record measurements and correct machine offsets to maintain dimensional conformity.
- Collaborate closely with design, hand-finishing and quality teams to deliver parts that meet artisanal finish standards and assembly requirements.
- Perform routine machine maintenance, calibration and troubleshooting; document production runs and non-conformances in line with workshop procedures.
- Ensure strict adherence to safety, cleanliness and handling protocols for precious materials and sensitive tooling.
Qualifications
- Technical diploma or vocational qualification in mechanical engineering, precision mechanics, or CNC technology (or equivalent apprenticeship).
- Demonstrable experience with CNC machine set-up and adjustment in high-precision manufacturing (preferably jewellery, watchmaking, or micro‑machining).
- Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings and tolerancing specifications.
- Proven competence in precision measurement and quality-control techniques.
- Commitment to meticulous workmanship and respect for artisanal finishing processes.
Skills
Experience
Mid-level candidate with approximately 3+ years of hands-on CNC machining and setup experience in precision manufacturing; experience in jewellery or watchmaking environments is highly desirable.
Education
Technical diploma or vocational certificate in mechanical engineering, precision mechanics, CNC technology, or equivalent apprenticeship.
