Brioni in Milan seeks an Inventory Controller Intern to support retail stock management, reconciliations and ERP data accuracy.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Perform regular inventory reconciliations and investigate stock variances across retail locations
  • Support cycle counts and physical inventory activities, including root-cause analysis for discrepancies
  • Maintain and update accurate stock data within ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, JDA)
  • Assist the EDI coordinator in resolving invoice and data exchange errors
  • Contribute to process improvement initiatives to optimise inventory accuracy and reduce waste

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Economics, Engineering or related discipline
  • Fluent in Italian and English, both written and spoken
  • High level of numerical aptitude, accuracy and attention to detail
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, with advanced Excel skills
  • Familiarity with SAP and JDA (and/or Oracle ERP) is an advantage
  • Proactive, flexible and able to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

Experience

Entry-level; previous internships or work experience in inventory control, supply chain or logistics is a plus but not mandatory. The role is designed for candidates who have academic grounding in supply chain or related fields and seek practical, operational exposure.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Economics, Engineering or related field (required).
