Planning and Scheduling Manager
Breguet (Orient, Vaud) seeks a Planning and Scheduling Manager to lead production planning for haute horlogerie manufacturing.

Role & Responsibilities
- Define, maintain and optimise the master production schedule to ensure on‑time delivery of finished timepieces while respecting quality and lead‑time constraints.
- Translate sales forecasts and customer orders into detailed production plans and daily work orders; balance capacity and demand across ateliers.
- Coordinate sequencing of operations between component workshops, assembly, finishing and quality control to minimise WIP and throughput time.
- Collaborate closely with Procurement, Engineering, Quality and After‑Sales to manage material availability, escalate bottlenecks and mitigate disruption risks.
- Implement capacity planning and line balancing, propose corrective actions and drive continuous improvement initiatives to increase flow efficiency.
- Monitor and report key planning KPIs (OTIF, lead times, WIP levels, schedule adherence); deliver regular performance reviews to senior management.
- Lead, coach and develop a small planning team; define roles, allocate workloads and ensure rigorous process compliance.
- Maintain and optimise planning parameters in ERP/MRP/MES systems; participate in system rollouts and master data governance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing or equivalent technical discipline.
- Proven managerial experience in production planning/scheduling within precision manufacturing, ideally luxury watchmaking or micro‑mechanics.
- Strong analytical capability to manage complex constraints and propose pragmatic, data‑driven solutions.
- Demonstrated leadership and stakeholder management skills across multifunctional teams.
- Solid understanding of manufacturing processes, capacity planning and inventory control principles.
- Fluency in English and business proficiency in the local working language is typically expected (not specified in source).

Experience
Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in production planning and scheduling, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial position; experience in high‑precision or luxury manufacturing is strongly preferred.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations Management or equivalent; advanced diploma or master's degree desirable but not required.
