Role & Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive piece-by-piece quality inspections of jewelry and high jewelry items, identifying any defects.
  • Communicate effectively with suppliers regarding quality issues and manage the return of non-compliant pieces.
  • Oversee the digital management of inventory flows, documentation, and archiving.
  • Occasionally travel to supplier sites for on-site product inspections.
  • Prepare shipments for repair, monitor returns, and manage related documentation.
  • Maintain supplier contacts and provide updates to relevant departments.
  • Manage metal warranty processes, including hallmarking and legal testing.
  • Contribute to the development of quality procedures and assist in the validation of new product launches.
  • Participate in central stock activities, including inventory counts.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent (Bac+2) preferred.
  • Technical knowledge in jewelry craftsmanship.

Skills

Meticulous attention to detail and precision in tasks requiring concentration. Manual dexterity and keen visual acuity. Strong oral and written communication skills. Proficiency in computer applications such as Word and Excel, with experience in ERP systems being advantageous. Product sensitivity and industry passion, coupled with dedication and dynamism. Understanding of English is an asset.

Experience

A minimum of three years of relevant experience in quality control within the luxury jewelry sector is required.

Education

Bachelor's degree or equivalent (Bac+2) preferred.
