Role & Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive piece-by-piece quality inspections of jewelry and high jewelry items, identifying defects.
- Communicate effectively with suppliers regarding quality issues.
- Manage the return process for non-compliant items to suppliers.
- Oversee the digital management of inventory flows, documentation, and archiving.
- Occasionally travel to supplier sites for on-site product inspections.
- Prepare shipments and manage the return process for stock repairs, including data entry and documentation management.
- Maintain supplier contact and provide updates to relevant departments.
- Oversee metal guarantee processes, including hallmarking and legal testing.
- Contribute to the development of quality procedures and assist in the validation of new products.
- Participate in central stock activities such as inventories.
Qualifications
- Technical knowledge in jewelry craftsmanship.
- Ability to perform meticulous tasks requiring concentration and precision.
- Manual dexterity and keen visual acuity.
- Strong attention to detail, honesty, and discretion.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Product and industry sensitivity, with a proactive and dynamic approach.
- Proficiency in computer tools (Word, Excel) and experience with ERP systems is preferred.
- Minimum education level of Bac+2 or equivalent.
- Understanding of English is advantageous.
- At least 3 years of relevant experience.
