Role & Responsibilities
- Serve as the technical reference for new product development and existing range pieces, ensuring adherence to cost, quality, and timeline specifications.
- Manage novelty projects, multisourcing initiatives, and continuous improvement efforts.
- Oversee budget tracking and project progress, providing arbitration proposals for any roadblocks encountered.
- Collaborate with the jewelry expert and project team to guide products from conception through to commercial launch.
- Draft specifications and risk analyses, contributing to technical risk mitigation plans.
- Lead and validate technical development phases in collaboration with workshops.
- Propose and challenge technical solutions for design and manufacturing.
- Ensure coherence between new products and existing range items.
- Compile and validate technical dossiers.
- Manage multisourcing projects from framing to pre-series validation, coordinating with internal Boucheron services and workshops.
- Propose and implement standardization projects for products, components, and fittings.
- Act as the primary contact for technical inquiries, managing technical documentation for products in development and in range.
- Lead continuous improvement projects related to internal activities and workshop operations.
Qualifications
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a methods, production, or design engineer in jewelry, watchmaking, or a similar field.
- Analytical mindset with strong attention to detail and excellent interpersonal skills.
- Ability to communicate clearly and professionally.
- Project-oriented with the capacity to adapt within a growing department and manage associated challenges.
- Proactive, autonomous, and innovative.
- Proficient in CAD tools and PLM systems.
- Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
- Willingness to travel.

Experience
A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in methods, production, or design engineering within the jewelry or watchmaking industry.
Education
Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
