Role & Responsibilities

  • Coordinate importation and exportation of merchandise between France and UAE.
  • Prepare and manage Drawbacks for eligible merchandise.
  • Track and record all High Jewelry and Fine Jewelry temporary imports.
  • Oversee shipment tracking from French central stock to stores.
  • Liaise with import/export teams in Paris for product movement.
  • Enhance import/export flow with local stakeholders.
  • Ensure documentation requirements are met, including certificates of origin and quality certificates.
  • Maintain and update relevant brand processes.
  • Serve as the primary contact for logistics-related inquiries.
  • Support periodic inventory control and reconciliations with the Finance Manager.
  • Ensure traceability of goods and compliance with system records.
  • Implement control measures to minimize shrinkage, loss, and damage.
  • Generate reports on stock levels, turnover rates, and inventory movements.
  • Utilize ERP systems for stock entries, including gifts, staff consignments, and PR.
  • Maintain accurate records of orders, receipts, and proofs of delivery.
  • Assist with shop-to-shop transfers between local stores.
  • Manage local and international transfers, coordinating with freight carriers and commercial teams.
  • Coordinate returns, including end-of-season, commercial, or defective items.
  • Coordinate UAE after-sales requests and liaise with central workshops.
  • Manage after-sales service functions, including shipments to France or local repair centers.
  • Track and log all information in the Repair File.
  • Provide operational support within the Middle East team.
  • Facilitate operations coordination within the Dubai office.
  • Coordinate with HQ logistics and security teams.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in import/export and logistics management.
  • Experience in inventory management, stock administration, or related roles, preferably in retail or jewelry industry.

Skills

Proficiency in inventory management software and spreadsheet applications. Attention to detail and accuracy in inventory data recording. Fluent in English, both spoken and written. Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. High level of integrity and reliability. Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities.

Experience

A minimum of three years in import/export and logistics management, with a preference for experience in the retail or jewelry industry.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent preferred; additional education or certification in inventory management or gemology is a plus.
