Role & Responsibilities

  • Communicate import clearance instructions to RDEs.
  • Verify information on declarations and request corrections if necessary.
  • Prepare import customs declarations (projected for completion by 2028/2029).
  • Prepare export customs declarations.
  • Monitor ECS Exit processes.
  • Manage special customs regimes, including updating material accounts and tracking deadlines and clearances.
  • Oversee ATA Carnets, including tracking outstanding items and deadlines.
  • Organize and archive document files (bundles).
  • Ensure compliance with customs practices within Boucheron SAS to prevent inappropriate or fraudulent activities.
  • Advise internal departments on customs-related issues.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Customs or related field (minimum Bac+3).
  • At least 5 years of experience as a customs declarant or in a similar role.

Skills

Proficiency in professional English, both spoken and written. Expertise in customs clearance tools. Experience with ERP systems, with a solid understanding of essential functions.

Experience

A minimum of five years in a customs declarant position or similar role is required.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Customs or related field (minimum Bac+3).
