Role & Responsibilities

  • Prepare and process export customs documentation and support import/export customs formalities.
  • Collect, verify and ensure conformity of all documents required for customs clearance.
  • Communicate import and export clearance instructions to external declarants and relevant operational teams (RDE).
  • Maintain and update activity tracking tables and customs dashboards.
  • Compile and transmit customs data necessary for mandatory periodic declarations (e.g. statistical declarations / DEB) and follow up on ATVAI where applicable.
  • Contribute to monthly customs reporting and perform required retrospective monthly checks on import/export declarations.
  • Support tariff classification research and regulatory monitoring to ensure compliant product importation across markets.
  • Take part in customs training initiatives for internal teams and participate in projects to modernize customs processes, including the company-wide digital archiving of customs documents.

Qualifications

  • Diploma in Customs, Transport, Logistics or International Trade (Bac+2 minimum).
  • Fluent English (spoken and written) — essential for the role.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills; able to liaise with internal teams, suppliers and external partners.
  • Strong attention to detail, rigor and organisational discipline.
  • Curious, proactive and able to conduct regulatory and tariff research independently.
  • Energetic, motivated and able to work within a structured team environment.
  • Proficient with Pack Office.

Experience

Work‑study/apprenticeship level role; previous internship or coursework in customs, transport or international trade is advantageous but no specific years of professional experience are required.

Education

Associate degree or equivalent (Bac+2) in Customs, Transport, Logistics, or International Trade.
