Stock Associate

Role & Responsibilities

• Receive and verify incoming and outgoing merchandise and supply deliveries, ensuring quantities match shipping documentation.
• Perform routine cycle counts; identify, document and escalate inventory discrepancies to Store Management.
• Organise and maintain the stockroom by style, color and size to optimise accessibility and store efficiency.
• Provide prompt stock checks and deliver merchandise to the sales floor on request to support store operations and client service.
• Manage the shipping area: package and log outgoing merchandise in accordance with store policies and procedures.
• Maximise stock space utilization and replenish packaging supplies as needed.
• Communicate proactively with management and sales teams regarding new arrivals, replenishments and client returns.
• Assist in training new hires on shipping, receiving and stockroom procedures and complete ad hoc tasks assigned by Store Management.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years' experience preferred in a complex retail stockroom or inventory role; experience with international/domestic freight carriers is a plus.
• Strong organisational skills with meticulous attention to detail and the ability to prioritise multiple tasks.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; professional and collaborative team player.
• Reliable, self-motivated and receptive to feedback; high level of accountability.
• Basic computer proficiency; Excel experience preferred.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, climb a ladder and regularly lift packages up to 20 lbs.

Experience

Preferably 1–2 years in a highly complex retail stockroom or inventory environment; familiarity with international and domestic freight operations (e.g., FedEx, UPS) is advantageous.
