Role & Responsibilities

  • Analyze material requirements using MRP systems and detailed forecast analysis.
  • Collaborate with internal departments such as demand planning, merchandising, and production planning.
  • Work with the planning office to achieve finished product delivery objectives.
  • Analyze finished product demand across various dimensions including priority and consumption.
  • Translate demand management and production planning inputs into actionable objectives for the purchasing department.
  • Assist in the development of the financial purchasing budget, including volumes, timing, prices, and inventory.
  • Monitor and manage material obsolescence in collaboration with the Finance department.
  • Interface with various company departments including material research, testing, intermediate phases, and quality control.
  • Conduct quantitative analyses to support the Purchasing Manager.
  • Contribute to the development and monitoring of IT tools in collaboration with IT and Business Intelligence departments.
  • Participate in or lead improvement projects and initiatives.
  • Manage orders and work orders related to raw materials.
  • Coordinate supplier follow-ups and schedule deliveries accurately.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Management Engineering, Economics, or Statistics.
  • 3-5 years of experience in planning, purchasing, or demand planning roles.
  • Proficiency in English.
  • Willingness to travel to supplier locations.

Skills

Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel. Knowledge of systems such as Stealth, PLM, and Qlik is preferred. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Team-oriented mindset.

Experience

3-5 years of experience in planning, purchasing, or demand planning roles is required.

Education

Degree in Management Engineering, Economics, or Statistics.
