Role & Responsibilities

  • Act as a brand ambassador in the Galeries Lafayette department store, delivering a distinctive and memorable luxury client experience.
  • Achieve and exceed individual and store sales targets using advanced luxury sales techniques and clienteling.
  • Develop and maintain long-term relationships with an international client base through proactive outreach and personalised service.
  • Record, update and maintain client data in the CRM and Client Book; use insights to drive repeat business and tailor recommendations.
  • Provide exemplary after‑sales service to nurture loyalty and resolve client enquiries efficiently.
  • Monitor stock information, initiate and follow up transfer requests accurately and ensure product availability reflects demand.
  • Share best practices with colleagues to foster team cohesion and contribute to continuous commercial performance improvements.
  • Ensure strict adherence to brand guidelines, in-store processes and presentation standards at all times.

Qualifications

  • Proven track record as a Sales Associate, ideally within the luxury or premium fashion sector.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and sustain profitable long-term client relationships across international clientele.
  • Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills; confident presentation and negotiation capabilities.
  • Commercially proactive with a demonstrable aptitude for meeting and improving sales performance.
  • Comfortable cross-selling across multiple product categories and adapting recommendations to client needs.
  • Flexible, resilient and motivated by targets and new challenges.
  • Fluency in French and English.

Experience
