Bottega Veneta seeks an Assistant Store Manager in Hong Kong to lead sales, team coaching and store operations.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Partner with the Store Manager to achieve store and individual sales targets and category goals.
  • Drive day-to-day store operations in accordance with brand standards, including visual merchandising and store image management.
  • Manage CRM activities and client book maintenance to maximise clienteling and repeat business.
  • Monitor stock levels and ensure merchandise availability through effective stock management processes.
  • Support loss prevention procedures and ensure compliance with company policies.
  • Mentor, coach and retain store staff; support workforce planning and staff optimisation versus business needs.
  • Analyse sales performance and budgets; provide numerical insight to support decision-making.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing customers to deliver exceptional service.
  • Keep abreast of competitor activity and local market trends to inform commercial actions.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 6 years' experience in luxury retail, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
  • Proven ability to lead, coach and develop a sales team with a strong orientation to results.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills with a presentable, energetic demeanour.
  • Solid numerical sensitivity and proven competence in budget management and sales analysis.
  • Thorough knowledge of the local luxury market and client profile.
  • Excellent command of Cantonese, English and Mandarin.

Experience

At least 6 years of progressive experience in luxury retail sales, with a minimum of 2 years in a supervisory or managerial capacity overseeing sales performance, staff coaching and store operations.

Education

High school diploma required; tertiary education in business, retail management or a related discipline preferred.
