Role & Responsibilities
- Achieve monthly and seasonal sales plans and annual invoicing targets.
- Cultivate relationships with buyers and store staff through consistent communication.
- Utilize analytical skills to create selling reports and drive business.
- Monitor the market to develop product expertise and identify new business opportunities.
- Create and review weekly and monthly selling recaps with actionable insights.
- Align with accounts on financial plans and sales targets before the season starts.
- Drive incremental sales by monitoring reorder opportunities and stock levels.
- Ensure store presentation and performance meet brand standards.
- Create briefs for marketing and asset requests for responsible accounts.
- Execute projects and assignments as directed by management.
- Ensure the highest level of customer service with all partners.
- Present collections to clients during market appointments in Milan.
- Collaborate with Merchandising and Product teams to present optimal product offerings.
- Coordinate with accounts on seasonal buys, providing data-driven feedback.
- Prepare for market weeks, including appointment scheduling and strategy development.
- Enter and confirm client orders during sales campaigns.
- Suggest replacements for cancellations to ensure sales continuity.
- Manage virtual appointments for clients unable to travel to Milan.
- Track customer orders to achieve seasonal targets.
- Coordinate product training and merchandising initiatives with in-store teams.
- Conduct market visits to assess product assortment and presentation.
- Partner with Visual Merchandising to ensure brand-appropriate store presentation.
- Maintain open communication with Merchandising on category performance and opportunities.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of wholesale experience, preferably in the luxury market.
- Proven ability to thrive in a goal-driven, fast-paced environment.
- Exemplary work ethic, leadership skills, and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel (including v-lookups, Pivot tables, formulas), and Word.
- Experience using SKYPAD is a plus.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; knowledge of Italian is a plus.
- Problem-solving skills with a resourceful and creative approach.
- Retail math skills.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally, including seasonal markets in Milan.
- Flexibility to work holidays, nights, and weekends as needed for business demands.
