Role & Responsibilities

  • Execute the complete assembly of prototypes, models, or custom orders.
  • Interpret patterns, technical files, and sketches accurately.
  • Implement alterations, adjustments, and refinements following fittings.
  • Propose technical solutions to enhance garment feasibility and quality.
  • Adhere to quality, finishing, and deadline standards.
  • Collaborate with pattern makers, designers, and the head of the workshop.
  • Contribute to the transmission of expertise by supporting assistants, apprentices, and interns.

Qualifications

  • Completion of CAP / BEP / Bac Pro in Fashion, Garment, or equivalent.

Skills

Proficient in hand and machine assembly techniques. Ability to read and understand pattern making. Expert knowledge of materials, fabrics, and textile behavior. Proficient in operating industrial machines (flatbed, overlock, coverstitch as needed). Strong teamwork and communication skills. Attention to product detail and quality standards. Meticulous with a keen eye for detail. Autonomous and organized, capable of working under tight deadlines (collections, fashion shows).

Experience

Minimum of 5 years in a similar role, ideally within the luxury or high-end sector.

Education

CAP / BEP / Bac Pro in Fashion, Garment, or equivalent.
