Role & Responsibilities

  • Complete assembly of prototypes, models, or custom orders.
  • Interpret patterns, technical files, and sketches.
  • Conduct alterations, adjustments, and refinements post fittings.
  • Propose technical solutions to enhance garment feasibility and quality.
  • Adhere to quality, finishing, and deadline standards.
  • Collaborate with model makers, stylists, and the workshop lead.
  • Contribute to the transmission of expertise to assistants, apprentices, and interns.

Qualifications

  • Formal training in Fashion Design or equivalent (CAP/BEP/Bac Pro in Fashion and Apparel).
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in luxury or high-end fashion.
  • Proven expertise in hand and machine assembly techniques.
  • Ability to read and interpret patterns.
  • In-depth knowledge of materials, fabrics, and textile behavior.
  • Proficiency in operating industrial machines (flatbed, overlock, coverstitch as needed).
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.
  • Attention to product quality and detail.
  • Autonomous and organized with the ability to work under tight deadlines (collections, fashion shows).
  • Experience in Haute Couture/Flou is required.

Experience

A minimum of 5 years in a similar position within the luxury or high-end fashion sector, with specific experience in Haute Couture/Flou.
