Balenciaga Sales Intern in Cannes — 4‑month retail internship starting May 2026 supporting client service, merchandising and stock.

Overview

Role & Responsibilities

  • Support the boutique sales team in the full client experience: welcome, advise and serve customers on the sales floor.
  • Present Balenciaga products and brand image with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Collect and update client contact information and contribute to the customer database (clienteling).
  • Assist with receipt, tagging, merchandising and visual presentation of merchandise.
  • Contribute to stock replenishment, store housekeeping and organisation of the back‑of‑house.
  • Support preparation and execution of inventory counts.
  • Coordinate follow‑up for alterations and provide administrative support as required.

Qualifications

  • Enrollment in or recent completion of a retail, fashion, business or related programme preferred.
  • Entry‑level candidate; prior luxury retail experience is not required but a strong interest in luxury prêt‑à‑porter, accessories or footwear is essential.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, attentive listening and a client‑service mindset.
  • Polished personal presentation and persuasive customer approach.
  • Highly developed product and fashion awareness.
  • Operational level of English, both written and spoken; availability to start in early May for a four‑month internship.

Experience

Entry‑level / internship: no specific prior professional experience required. Candidates should demonstrate strong interest in luxury retail and basic familiarity with boutique sales activities.

Education

Enrolled in or recently graduated from a programme in fashion, retail, business, hospitality or a related discipline (vocational diplomas or university studies acceptable).
