Balenciaga is hiring a Sales & Client Advisor in Beijing — deliver omnichannel luxury client experiences and achieve retail sales targets.

Overview

Role & Responsibilities

  • Achieve individual and store sales targets, KPIs and qualitative objectives through proactive selling and client engagement.
  • Represent the Balenciaga brand to clients by presenting collections, storytelling around inspirations, and delivering tailored styling advice.
  • Ensure seamless omnichannel client journeys by promoting and executing in‑store and remote services (in‑store, distant sales, M‑xstore) and following HQ guidelines for loyalty and client experience.
  • Build, maintain and update client portfolios using the Luce app; follow up with clients to nurture long‑term relationships and support after‑sales requests.
  • Coordinate closely with the stock/BOH team to guarantee product availability, process deliveries and prepare shipments to clients.
  • Execute visual merchandising and product presentation standards to maintain store image and organisation.
  • Perform front‑of‑house transactions at the cash desk and contribute to back‑of‑house operations including stock control and inventories.
  • Report client feedback, requests and complaints to Store Management and contribute actionable market and trend insights.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders (Store Management, VM, Client Engagement, Accounting) and support team performance and sustainability objectives.

Qualifications

  • If promoted internally: successful completion of Balenciaga onboarding and Omnichannel Client Journey training, plus at least 1 year as Sales Associate.
  • If hired externally: minimum of 2 years of relevant sales experience, preferably within luxury or premium retail.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver high standards of client service and to build long‑term client relationships.
  • Strong communication skills, professionalism and a collaborative, service‑oriented approach.
  • Ability to perform both FOH and BOH duties with limited supervision and to follow Retail Excellence processes.

Experience

Candidates promoted internally will have completed Balenciaga’s onboarding and possess at least one year as a Sales Associate. External candidates should present a minimum of two years’ relevant retail sales experience, ideally within a luxury or premium brand and with demonstrable omnichannel selling exposure.

Education

High school diploma or equivalent required; tertiary education in fashion, retail, business or a related discipline is advantageous.
