Balenciaga — New York: Financial Analyst Intern (FP&A) — Summer 2026. Support Opex reporting, forecasting and month-end close. $17/hr; academic credit required.

Overview

The finance organization supports creative and commercial growth while promoting professional development within the House and the wider group.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Support the FP&A Director with Opex reporting analysis, including preparing and reconciling monthly reports.
  • Contribute to forecasting and budgeting processes for operating expenses and assist with uploads of forecasts and budgets into financial systems.
  • Prepare and format reporting decks and presentation materials for leadership reviews.
  • Assist with month-end close activities and variance analysis to support timely financial reporting.
  • Capture meeting notes, produce concise recaps and follow up on action items.
  • Perform ad-hoc financial analysis and support cross-functional requests from commercial and operations teams.

Qualifications

  • Currently eligible to receive academic credit for internship (required).
  • Previous finance-related experience or coursework preferred (internship, part-time role, or relevant projects).
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and comfortable using the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Highly detail-oriented, numerate and comfortable with financial recaps and reconciliations.
  • Strong problem-solving ability, time management and organizational skills.

Experience

Some prior exposure to finance or accounting through internships, part-time roles, or university coursework is preferred; practical experience with reporting and basic FP&A tasks is advantageous.

Education

Enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's program in Finance, Accounting, Economics or a related field and able to receive academic credit for the internship.
