Role & Responsibilities
- Ensure timely and accurate preparation and submission of monthly management reports for management review and group consolidation.
- Prepare, analyze, and share all monthly reporting packages for review with stakeholders.
- Partner with various stakeholders to align financial goals and implement process improvements to strengthen controls.
- Work closely with relevant stakeholders on efficient stock management, ensuring accuracy of stock integrity, and management of warehouse costs.
- Communicate timely spending reports to Department Heads for monitoring and tracking of spend (Capex and Opex) versus Budget/Forecasts.
- Coordinate with SSC for compliance with auditors, tax consultants, bankers, and government agencies; reviewing schedules to ensure timely submission of statutory reporting requirements.
- Responsible for Fringe Benefits Tax (FBT) reporting and filing.
- Involved in the preparation for budget and forecasts for ANZ entities and the reporting package to APAC.
- Manage cost control and optimization.
- Collaborate with the Retail team in SEAO to guide and support ANZ business plans and project rollouts in stores.
Qualifications
- University graduate in Accountancy or related disciplines.
- Qualified accountant.
- Minimum 10 years of working experience, preferably in the luxury retail industry, with at least 5 years of solid management experience overseeing finance and business operations in Australia and New Zealand.
- Audit or Internal Control experience preferred but not mandatory.
