Role & Responsibilities

  • Manage the procurement of components for Ready-to-Wear collections.
  • Source, develop, and refine components such as raw materials, trims, metallic accessories, shoulder pads, zippers, pulls, and elastics.
  • Oversee component purchases for press collections.
  • Coordinate information flow between development teams, finished product teams, workshops, and stock management.
  • Validate bill of materials and tone-on-tone matches.
  • Manage and track orders, including supplier follow-ups.
  • Monitor stock levels.
  • Negotiate pricing and timelines with suppliers.
  • Implement tracking tools and analytical reports.
  • Oversee quality control processes.
  • Conduct detailed reviews.
  • Reference and code components in PLM.
  • Verify invoices using Esker.
  • Communicate all relevant information to the industrialization and production teams.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role.

Skills

Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, and PLM software; familiarity with Esker is advantageous. Strong negotiation skills regarding pricing and timelines. Meticulous, methodical, and team-oriented. Solution-focused with excellent communication skills for engaging with internal and external stakeholders. Proficiency in English is mandatory; Italian language skills are a plus.

Experience

A minimum of 3 years in a similar purchasing coordination role within the fashion industry is required.
