Role & Responsibilities

  • Manage the procurement of components for ready-to-wear collections.
  • Source, develop, and refine components such as raw materials, trims, metallic accessories, shoulder pads, zippers, sliders, elastics, etc.
  • Oversee component purchases for press collections.
  • Coordinate information flow between development, finished product, workshop, and stock teams.
  • Validate bill of materials and tone-on-tone specifications.
  • Manage and track orders, and follow up with suppliers.
  • Control inventory levels.
  • Negotiate pricing and lead times with suppliers.
  • Implement tracking tools and analytical reports.
  • Oversee quality control processes.
  • Conduct detailed reviews.
  • Reference and code in PLM.
  • Verify billing through Esker.
  • Communicate all pertinent information to the industrialization and production team.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role.

Skills

Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, and PLM software. Knowledge of Esker is advantageous. Strong negotiation skills in pricing and lead times. Proficiency in English is mandatory; knowledge of Italian is a plus. Excellent communication skills with internal and external stakeholders. Detail-oriented and methodical with strong teamwork capabilities. Solution-oriented mindset.

Experience

Candidates must have at least 3 years of experience in a similar purchasing coordination role within the fashion industry.
